# Is this the right season for it?

Four questions. Answer them the way things actually are, not the way you would like them to be. This tool is entirely willing to tell you that now is not the time.

## What are you actually looking for?

✓To understand how these systems really workAnd to change how I operate inside them

✓To elevate my positioning as a leader or professionalLong term, not this quarter

—To fix one specific number quicklyMy score, or a funding decision

—Motivation and accountabilityI know what to do, I just do not do it

### When someone tells you something you did not want to hear, what usually happens?

✓I sit with it, and often act on itEven when it stings

~I take it, but it takes me a whileI get there eventually

—I explain why my situation is differentHonestly, most of the time

### Think about the last thing you committed to doing consistently.

✓I am still doing itOr I finished it properly

~I kept it up for a while, then it slippedAnd I noticed it slip

—I cannot remember the last oneOr it did not last past the first week

### How much room do you honestly have right now?

Time, attention and stability. Not enthusiasm.

✓Enough to give this real attentionWeekly, for months

~It would be tight, but I would make it work

—Very littleThings are genuinely chaotic right now

This is a reflection tool, not an assessment of you as a person and not a decision about your application. Lynden reads every application himself regardless of what this says.

## Why a tool that talks people out of it

Because the wrong fit wastes everyone's time, and because a mentorship that takes anyone who can pay is not a mentorship, it is a subscription.

Lynden's own framing is blunt about this. It is for people ready to think differently, act intentionally and take responsibility. It is not for those seeking shortcuts, those unwilling to apply what they learn, or those looking for surface-level motivation without execution.

"Not right now" is not a rejection. Most people who get that answer are in a genuinely hard season, and starting something demanding in the middle of one is how people end up believing they failed at something they simply mistimed.
