# Why I mentor

Too many capable, intelligent people are held back. Not by lack of effort, but by lack of information.

I know this personally. Early in my adult life, a lack of financial literacy, not poor decisions or character, left me navigating systems I was never taught to understand. That experience shaped my resolve to learn deeply, act intentionally, and teach clearly.

Mentorship is not about shortcuts. It is about stewardship, of knowledge, resources and responsibility.

I mentor to help people think differently, move deliberately, and build with purpose. I believe clarity creates confidence, discipline creates access, and education creates freedom.

This work is rooted in faith, guided by gratitude, and focused on legacy. My commitment is not simply to help you improve numbers. It is to help you elevate how you see yourself, your future, and your capacity to lead.

## What that means in practice

- I will tell you the truth about your situation, including the parts that are uncomfortable.

- I will not sell you something you do not need, and I will say so when the answer is something you can do yourself.

- I will hold you to what you said you would do.

- I will not guarantee an outcome that nobody can guarantee.

## Community and opportunity

The teaching does not stop at people who can pay for it. Access follows understanding, and understanding has to reach the people who were never offered it in the first place.

## If that lands, we should talk

Mentorship is by application. It starts with an honest conversation about where you are and whether this is the right season for it.
