If any part of this site does not work for you, that is a problem worth fixing, and we want to hear about it.
What we aim for
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is a standard, not a finish line, and pages are reviewed against it as they change.
What has been done
- Text and interface colours are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios on the dark background this site uses
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator
- A "skip to content" link is the first thing a keyboard or screen reader user reaches
- Headings follow a logical order, and landmarks identify the header, main content and footer
- Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers
- Form fields have real labels, not placeholder text standing in for them
- Animation is reduced automatically when your system is set to prefer reduced motion
- Layouts reflow to phone width without horizontal scrolling
- The calculators work without requiring a mouse and announce their results in the page
Known limits
Some third-party embedded content, such as a scheduling calendar, is controlled by the provider rather than by us. Where such content creates a barrier, contact us and we will help you complete what you were trying to do directly.
